A CAERPHILLY Miss Wales finalist was hostess for a darts match featuring the World Champion.

Carla Burrows, 19 from Caerphilly also managed to raise money for the Joshua Foundation on the night in Tynewydd Labour Club, Margaret Street, Treherbert, Treorchy.

Mark Webster, the 2008 World darts Champion, played the Welsh Premier League Champion. You can find more information on www.welshdartspremierleague.co.uk The match was extremely close with the highest calibre of darts being thrown by both players.

However, the raining world champion held his nerve and edged ahead of Wayne wining the match by five games; the final score being 18 - 13 Carla and one of her best friends Kirsty Williams age 18, donned their glad rags and escorted both players on to the stage.

The organiser of this sell out event, with over 400 people attending, was Adrian Edwards.
